Brown, signifying stability, structure and support, the color of earth, of wood, growth. It is comforting and nurturing, it communicates approachability, wholesomeness, reliability, elegance, security, associated with home, stability, warmth, and honesty All shades of brown are natural, neutral color that is typically recalling the seasons of fall and winter and anything related to the great outdoors.

It is a warm color that stimulates the appetite. It also represents steadfastness, simplicity, friendliness and health.

When combined with green create a palette often used to convey concepts of earth-friendly or green/natural appeal. Dark brown can be used in place of black and brings warmth to color palettes.
